Dalian American International School

Dalian American International School Dalian American International School Dalian American International School opened with a K-8 program in 2006. In 2015-2016, the school serves over 470 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. In 2010, the school expanded its educational offerings by adding the Huamei Academy, a secondary school for Chinese national students. The school is committed to developing well-rounded and well-educated young people with a strong sense of personal and social responsibility. DAIS is fully accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Council of International Schools, and the Chinese National Center for School Curriculum and Textbook Development. Teachers benefit from the schools membership in EARCOS and the professional development opportunities it offers. Students participate in sports competitions and arts festivals with other international schools in Asia through its affiliation with ACAMIS. The beautiful campus is located on the Golden Pebble Beach Resort near the Dalian Development Area and offers students and residents a track and field, gymnasium, and pool complex. The newest addition on the campus, a purpose-designed and built elementary school, will begin serving students this fall.
